Feeling Naked

Some people feel naked or feel lost without their phone, some without their computer, some without their purse, some even without a treasured blanket. But I feel naked without a temple recommend. 

John and I recommends expired at the end of August. So it's almost been a month without! And I totally feel like some people do without their phones: like something is missing, like life around me isn't quite the same with it missing.  Well our bishops been out of temple recommends for a while.... So I keep thinking "oh, let's go to the temple" then "oh no wait we can't"! It has been crazy! And so naked and lost feeling.

But finally yesterday we started the recommend process! And have an appointment tomorrow with the Stake President! The lost feeling is slowly ebbing away.....

I have a testimony of temples. I know that the temple are the house of The Lord. I know that the ordinances we preform in the temple are helping those that have passed on before us with no knowledge or opportunity of the gospel. I know these ordinances are sacred not secret and deserve respect. I love going to the temple with my husband and sitting in the celestial room with him. The peace that I feel at the temple is such a comforting aura the surrounds me and erases my fears and doubts. If you haven't gone to the temple in a while I strongly suggest that you go. Parents be the example, encourage and support your children going to the temple. It's a great blessing that we have in our lives, all we need to do is go.
