Someone I miss.....

I have not lost a lot of people in my life. I have lost two great grandparents and my paternal grandfather.

My grandfather, Jack Sheldon Harris, I remember in his house in Pocatello with the horses in his backyard. He loved those horses even though they were his neighbors. He knew all their names and how old they were. He would bring me to the window and would watch all the horses run around. They were so majestic and beautiful.

I don't remember too much about my grandma Ginger. I do remember that she had little kittens in her barn, crazy wild ones so we couldn't touch them ;). I also remember going to the studio where she made ceramics and picking out one for her to paint. I have some of her ceramics in my house today.

My Grandma Beardall was amazing. I was always able to remember her age because she was the same age as Gordon B. Hinckley. She was famous for playing games like Rummikub and Phase 10. She had her own house rules and I actually started playing her rules the other day and John didn't understand where these crazy rules came from. She also came to everything important of mine and my siblings. She was a great lady.

I miss these family members and wish that I could have gotten to know them better.
